Table 6-1 <br />Ocwpancy <br />The occupant load of the meeting and communiry room is greater than 50 and <br />should therefore be classified as an A-3 Occupancy. The following revisions <br />based on occupancy requirements should be shown: <br />-re. A one-hour occupancy separation is required between the A-3 and R-1 or <br />B occupancies: <br />i� Doors to the corridor should be minimum 60-minute rated, self- <br />closing assemblies. Section 302.3 <br />ii� Ducts which penetrate the occupancy separation should be <br />provided with smoke and fire dampers. Section <br />1003.2.8.2 <br />e� The occupancy should be shown in the building code data section on the <br />cover sheet. <br />Construction <br />1: The roof of the lobby (room 125) continues past the area separation wall (ASV�. <br />The openings on either side of the wall for a distance equal to depth of the roof <br />overhang should be shown as �4-hour rated self-closing or fixed openings. <br />Section 504.6.3 <br />2. The glazing in the living room of units No. 310 & 410 should also be shown as <br />�4-hour fire-resistive assemblies. Section 504.6.6 <br />3.
