Please submit aetails for the duct enclosures for the exhaust fans. <br />i. The system should be ciear enough on the architectural drawings such <br />that the method of providing heat, ventilation, and lighting to the units is <br />shown in section and in plan on the drawings to show how the fire- <br />rating and enclosure of the ductwork is maintained at the partition, <br />Floor/ceiling, and roofJceiling assemblies. <br />c. The specific tested assembly at the fan source should be identified on the details <br />referenced, including all of the materials required to meet that testing assembly. <br />2. Minimum ceiling heights at typical and dropped ceiling assemblies should be shown on <br />the drewings, per IBC section 1208.2, <br />3. Please indicate the airflo�v and exhaust rate, ventilation and heating/cooling equipment, <br />ductwork, and fan cfm for the community room, lobby, public tcilet room, and laundry, <br />per IMC table 403.3, amended by the State of Washington, and IMC section 504. <br />Energy <br />1. Economizers should be shown on the d�awings for cooling equipment per WSEC section <br />1413. <br />Applicable codes include the 2009 International Building Code (IBC), the 2009 International Fire <br />Code (IFC), the 2009 International Mechanical Code (IMC), the 2009 Washington State Energy <br />Code (WSEC), as amended by the by the State of Washington and adopted by the Ciry of <br />Everett. The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the Accessibie and Usable <br />Buildings and Facilities A117.1-2003 (!CC/ANSI). Federa/ADA �egu/ations and sfandards may <br />be more restrictive. <br />These comments address building issues oniy.
