Roof framing plan <br />This plan shows where all the roofing members are. Since the whole roof was hand crafled this plan shows <br />thc location of nll the raticrs, thc ridge board and �ehcrc the g.�bles bcgin. All thc raRers consist of 2"x 6" <br />d.f that rise to Uie ridge which is a I' :c 6". The raRers are spaced I(" o.c nnd have a pitch of 8/I2. All the <br />ceiling rafters are 2"s G" d.f spaced 16" o.c the whole Iength of thc house. In the living room there is a <br />4s 10 d.f beam which supports the ceiling raftcrs with 2sG joist hangars. We did not make any alterations to <br />the roof, wejust added to the cxisling 2x4 rnticrs. In ihc attic there will be n ridge support post added in the <br />front porch of thc housc. <br />Electrical <br />The whole house was upd.ited with I2/2 wirc and all nc��� boxes. Each room has a separare run Gom the <br />servicc boa. None o( �hc nms from thc servicc bos Bavc more than R oudets, t�vo lights and a switch on <br />them. We replaced all thc 15 amp breakers with �0 amp breakcrs, and s�•itched thc rangcs 40 amp breakcr <br />wilh a 50 nmp brcakec Also any whcrc thcrc is thc sliehtcst chancc of a nnil being able to hit a wirc ���c put <br />metal nail covcr platcs. Therc ��as no fan in the bathroom before our remodel, wc will install one. Electrical <br />system will be installcd to code and will comply �rith all rcquirements of our electrical pcmiit. <br />Insulation <br />We replaccd the old insulation �vith n��v.'I'he oalls are insulatcd �vith R-13 mid thc cciling �sas insulated <br />��'ith R-3R and R-21, all pluca� bcl��'ccn �hc ccilinc raficrs IG' o.c. Wc uscd R-±S in thc c;mlilevcrs ;md R- <br />21 in the rest of Qie cciline. <br />Shcetrock <br />�irst �vc wili instnll ihc cciling aad then install dic wnlls. �Vc uscd a d'R scrc�� pnitcm oiqi thc drywall, <br />4inches apart on the ed�:es and 3in:hes apnn in die tield. Ne �eill use J�3 sheecs ol'!! inch shectrock.
