WHEREAS, on March 1 G, 2005, Everett City Council concurred with the recommendation of the Hi�torical Commission with conditions (a) through (e) above; and WHEREAS, on July 20, 2005„ Everett City Council approved changes to the Comprehensive Plan Land Use map and rezones to allow expansion of PEMC into Block 248 of the Donovan District by Ordinance No. 2850-05, �vhich includes Development Standards and Guidelines; and WHEREAS, the Everett Municipal Code states in Section 2.96.OGOC(3) that tlie decision cotrceming tUe granting or denial of a certificate of appropriateness shall be made by thc mayor(or desi�iee) on the advice of the commission according to the standards established in the commission's rules; and R'HEREAS, the Mayor has dcsignatcd thc City's Building Officia! to rendcr the decision in this matter; NOW, THEREFORE, the Building Official approves a Ceriificate of Appropriateness to rc-construct, altcr, restore, remodel, repair, or mo��e the house located at 1310 Oakes Avenuc, �vith thc follo�ving conditions: (a) PGMC shall bc required to comply�viUi thc recommendations, conditions cmd standards dMailed itt City Council Ordinance No. 2850-OS and exhibits thcreto, all oi which arc incon�oratcd herein by reference. (U) PEMC will make every eCCort to avoid damage to the Donovan houses being movcd off Block 248. (c) Thc houses will be mo��ed and relocated follo�aing estaUlished standards for rclocation of I�istoric propertics wl�ich prescrvc thc historic integrity o1'the structures. (d) PEMC will complctc a thorougli photographic documentation of Block 248 and thc strectscape of the 1300 block of Oakes as thcy no��exist. (e) An exhibit or display depicting the history and characleristics of Ihe Dono��an District will bc included in ne�v devclopment on Block 248.
