CITY OF EVERETT Certificate of Appropriateness To Re-construct, Alter, Restore, Remodel, Repair, or niove a House Located at 1316 Oakes A�'enue within Block 248 0[the Donovan District ��HGREAS,the City of Everett has a desire to work �vith Pro��idence Everett D icdical Center(PEMC) and the community iu thc provision of l�ealthcare; and WHEREAS, PEMC requested approval of a Certificate of Appropriateuess to move some or all of tlie Donovan District houses owned by PEMC off Block 248 to allo«� for hospilal expansion; and WHEREAS, thc L��crett Historical Commission hcld a puUlic hcaring on March 9, 200�; and WHEREAS, the Lverctt Historical Commission devcloped findings, conclusions, and rccommcndations rclatcd to Block 248 of the Donovan District; and WHEREAS, lhe L��erett Historical Commission strongly encouraged moving houses off site o�-cr dcmolition; and WHfREAS, thc E��crctt Historical Commission rccommended appro��al of a Waivcr oC C;crtificate of Appropriateness to move or retain 75% or more of[hc houscs in Block 245, witli thc follo�ving conditions: (a) PLMC sliall bc requimd to comply�vith thc rccommcndations, conditions and standards detailed in Planning Cunuuission Resolution No. 2005-2 and Exhibits A, B, and C thcreto, all of which arc incorporated hcrcin by referencc. (b) PEA4C ��ill makc every cffort to a��oid da�mgc to the Donovan houscs bcing movcd off Block 245.
