CITY OF EVERETT Ccrtificate of Appropriateness To Re-construct, Alter, Restore, Remodel, Repair, or A4o��e a House Located at 1328 Oakes A��enue n�ithin Block 248 of tlie Donoean District �'VHEREAS, Uic City of Gverett has a desire to work�vith Pro��idence Everett A4edical Center(PEMC) and thc communiry in the pro��ision of liealthcare; mid �;'HERE.4S, PLMC requested approval of a Ceriificatc of Appropriateness to mo��e somc or all of Uic Donovan District houscs o�vned by PEMC off Block 248 to allow for hospital expnnsion; and WHERLAS, the Everett Historical Commission hcld a public hearing on March 9, 2005; and WHEREAS, thc Everett Historical Comniission devcloped findings, condusions, and recommendations rclatcd to Block 24S of Ihe Donovan District; and \\'HGRGAS, tlie E�'erett Historical Commission strongly encouraged moving houses off site over.�emolition; and �\rHERGAS, the �vereti Ilistorical Conuuission rccommendcd appro��al ota Waiver of Ccrtificatc of Approprialcncss to movc or rctain 75% or morc of thc houscs in Block 245, ��ith the following conditions: (a) PGN1C sliall be required to comply��ith the recommendations, conditions and standards dctailed in Plannin�Commission Rcsolution No. 2005-2 and Gxhibits A, B, and C thereto, all of which are incoq�orated hercin by reCerence. (b) PGMC will make evcry cffort to avoid damage to the Donovan houses Ueing moved off Block 245. (c) Thc houscs �aill Uc mo��cd and relocatcd following cstablished standards for rclocation oPhistoric properties ��hich presen�e the historic integrity ofthe structures.
