WHEREAS, on March 16, 2005, Everelt City Council concurred with the recommendation of Uic Historical Commission with conditions (a)through (e) above; and VVHEREAS, on July 20, 2005„ cverett City Council approved changes to the Comprehensive Plan Land Usc map and rezones to allow expansion of PEMC into Block 24S of the Dunovan District by Ordinance No. 2850-05, �vhich includes Development Standards and Guidelines; and \VHEREAS, the Everett Municip.il Codc states in Section 2.96A60C(3)that the decision conceming the granting or denial of a certificate of appropriateness shall be made by thc mayor(or dcsignee) on lhc advice of the commission according to the standazds esiablished in tl�e commission's rules; and NHEREAS, thr. i.1ayor has designated ilie City's Buildiug Official to render the decision in this matter; NOW,THEREPORE, thc Buildiug Official approvcs a Ccriificate of Appropriateness to ro-corstnict, alter, restore, remodel, repair, or move thc house located at 1328 Oakes Avenu�, with the following conditions: (a) YEMC shall Ue required to cemply with Uic recommendations, conditions and standards detailed in City Council Ordinancc No. 2S50-OS and exhibits Aiereto, all of �vhich are inwrporatcd hercin Uy referencc. (b) PEMC will make every effori to avoid damage to the Donovan houses being moved off Block 245. (c) The houses will Ue mo��ed and relocated follo�ving cstablished standards for rclocation of historic properties�vhich preserve thc liistoric integrity of the structures. (d) PEMC ��ill complctc a tliorough photograrhic documentation of Block 24S and Uic streetscapc of the 1300 Ulock of Oakes as tliey no�� esist. (c) An exhibit or display dcpicting thc hisrory and charactcristics of thc Donovan District��ill be induded in new developmcnt on Block 24S.
