( � <br /> 3. Yolations & EMC Sections <br /> Insoection of the pspuerty reveals the fnllnwina conditions and violations: <br /> A. There are 2 single-family residence structures on the lot. The rear house was <br /> heavily damaged by a fire on March 25, 2011. The structure is now open to <br /> endy and is a danger to any persons who might enter it, This is a violation of <br /> International Property Maintenance Code 10�.1.5, which reads; <br /> Dangerous Strudure or Prem/ses <br /> for the pwpose of this code, any structure o�premises that has any o�all of <br /> the conditions or defects descnbed be/ow shall be cons/dered dangerous: <br /> 7. The building or structure is neg/ected, damaged, dilap/dated, unsecured or <br /> abandoned so as to become an attractive nuisance to chlldren who might <br /> play in the building or structure to their damage, becomes a harbor for <br /> vagrants, cr/m/na/s or lmmoral persons, or enables person to resort to the <br /> building or structure fo�committing a nuisance or an un/awfW act. <br /> B. The electrical power supply to both structures has been terminated by the <br /> Snohomish County Public Utility District, The absence of power renders the <br /> structures uninhabitable. This is a violation of International Prope�ty <br /> Maintenance Code 604.1 which reads; <br /> Facilides r�quired. <br /> Every acupied building shall be provided with an e%ctrica/system in <br /> compiiance with the requirements of fhis section and section 605. <br /> C. The water supply to both structures has been determinate by the Ciry Utilities <br /> Department. The absence of a water supply renders the structure <br /> uninhabitable. This is a violation of International Properly Maintenance <br /> Code 505.3 which reads; <br /> Water Supp/y <br /> The wate�supp/y system shall be installed and maintained to provide a supply <br /> of water to p/umbing l5xtures, devices and appurtenances in su�cient volume <br /> and at pressures adequate to enab/e the fixtures to function properly, safely, <br /> and free ofdefects and/eaks. <br /> D. The absence of systems to provide power and water to the structures render <br /> them unfit for human habitation.
