. c � <br /> Structure Unfit for Human Occupancy <br /> A strudure is unfit for human ocrupancy whenever the Code O(ficial finds that <br /> such structure is unsafe, un/awful or, because to the degree tn which the <br /> sfiucture is in disrepair or lacks maintenance, is unsanitary, verm/n or rat <br /> infested, mntains F/th or contamination, or lacks ventilation, illumination, <br /> sanitary o�headng facilides or other essendal equipment requlred by this code, <br /> or bewuse of the location of the sdvcture constitutes a hazard to the oaupanls <br /> of the structure or to the public. <br /> E. C/osing of�acant Strudures <br /> If the.shucture is vacant and unfit for habitation o�oaupancy, and/s not in <br /> danger ofshuctural collapse, the Code Offcial is authorized to post a p/acard of <br /> condemnation on the premises and orde�the structure dosed up, so as nat to <br /> be an attractive nuisance. Upon failure of tfie owner to dose up the prem/ses <br /> within the dme specified within the order, the Code Otlrcial shall cause the <br /> premises to be c%sed and secured thrnugh an available public agency or by <br /> contract or arrangement by pnvate persons and the cost thereofshall be <br /> charged againsl the real estate upon whlch the shvctur�Is located and shall be <br /> a lien u,von such rea/estate and may be collected by any other/ega/resource. <br /> In accordance with the criteria stated above, the Code Offlcial has declared these <br /> structures CONDEMNED. A placard declaring this determination has been posted <br /> on the structures. <br /> 4. Corrective Action, Deadline <br /> The Respondent must complete the following corrective actions to eliminate the <br /> above listed conditions: <br /> A. The structures both must be vacated immediately and must remain vacant <br /> until such time as they are brought into compliance with the Everett <br /> Municipal Code. <br /> B.
