The permit also notes that building department approval (for the permit) is conditional subject <br /> to field inspection. Responding to complaints, additional inspections were performed on June 17, <br /> 2002, and on June 26, 2002, to deterniine if the permit issued �vas appropriate to the scope of actual <br /> work. As a result, the following code violations were noted which require immediate attention (note <br /> that the following comments rela�c to an R-3 Occupancy of V-N Construction): <br /> l. Additional Planning Department approval is required. A Nonconforming Building application, <br /> with a site plan and $50 application fce must be submitted for review to the Planning <br /> Department. An application was mailed to you on June 19, 200�, if you need an additional <br /> copy or further information regarding this process, please contact Becky Fauver at (425) 257- <br /> 8810. <br /> STORAGG USE <br /> 3. The items in this section relate to storaec use only (the declared previous and future use of the <br /> space). The attic area has been cxpanded ro a larger attic area per permit referenced above. <br /> The tloor joists for the attic wcre noted to have been existing and therefore there is no change <br /> in floor loading or use. A copy of a tenant lease must be submitted which clearly states the <br /> approved use oC the second story. <br /> 3. The Uniform Buildin�Code prohibits openings in an exterior wall are prohibited when the <br /> Jistance from the estcrior wall to the property line is Icss than three feet Per Table 5-A. As the <br /> northem property line is statcd at t���o fcet away from the building in your letter of June 18, <br /> �003 the window that was installed must be removed and opening filled in by approved <br /> construction.
