Ingram, and on the taking of a vote <br /> Mr. Ingram, Mr. Cronin, and tdr. Graff voted in favor of the variance <br /> while Mr. Champion was opposed. The reasons for g:anting the <br /> variance are as folluws: <br /> 1. Th�. pro�osed new structurc will not be detrimental to the <br /> surrounding area. <br /> 2. There �uill be no adverse effects on the neighUorhood. <br /> 3. The otlter three corners of the intersection are not required <br /> to have yard setbacks . <br /> In granting the variance on yard setbacks , the Board stipulated <br /> that a sideyard of 10 feet must be maintained on the east <br /> side of tne property as indicated by the applican� as being <br /> their intention. <br /> A hearing was held on the application of Dr. Wendt requesting <br /> permission to extend a deck 4 to 5 feet into the North side <br /> yard on the S.F. Corner of 40th and Colby. <br /> After visually v�ewing the subject property and considering all <br /> the testimony and questions regarding the application it �aas <br /> moved by Mr. Champion , seconded by h1r. Ingram and unanimously <br /> carried to grant the applicants request for the follocaing reasons : <br /> 1. There will be no adverse effect on the surrounding area . <br /> 2. This taill permit better utilization of the land area. <br /> 3.
