Mr. Larsen proposes two 16-foot <br /> driveways tu provide parking access for eight (8) of 13 required off-street spaces �required for a tweive (12) � <br /> , unit apartment building) , the remainder would access from the alley east of Oakes Ave. <br /> Developers site plans, showing parl<ing arran;?ments are attached. As noted, thc driveways on Oakes <br /> will result in a loss of four (4) on-street parking spaces in an area where a critical on-street parking . <br /> problem already exists. Through the SEPA Checklist Review process this developer was required to . <br /> provide access via the alley. When developments occur in critical on-street parking proble:n areas�the <br /> � City, through the SEPA process in circumstances �vhere street access is allowed, by Code, has required <br /> 4� two �Z) additional off-street parking spaces for every driveway, parking guideline attached, (Four (4) <br /> additional spaces total for this development. This additional requirement reduces on-street parking demand <br /> by allowing some off-street parking for excess tenant parking, and parking for visitors and deliveries. <br /> � <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS_ C, ,r C� <br /> It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department that: iC,��`, ' . <br /> 1.
