To: Jim Iles � From: Marian Dent i% Date Subject March 20, 1984 Electrical business at 6010 Oakes In January of 1984 I received a complaint from Peggy Boe of 6007 Rockefeller regarding an electrical business located at 6010 Oakes. Her complaint stertmed around materials for the business being stacked in the alley as well as the premises of the bustness. She indicated that materials were also scattered on adjacent property to the bustness area and neighbors had discussed it with her. Mrs. Boe indicated that on several occasions the alley had been blocked by vehicles directly involved in the business and neiyh- bors had to walk around the block to the residence of the business and request that the vehicles be removed so that they may remove their vehicles from their 9arages. On February 2nd I inspected :'�e area and found equiqnent and materials stored on the prope�`y and in the alley behind the garage. I did not see any veh •les at thc time. On February 14th I sent a letter to Mr. Seth Btansett (a copy of the letter is enclosed). I checked with the business licenses and found that a license is issued for an electrical business and the address on the license is 6010 Oakes. There was no response from Mr. Blansett after the letter was sent out. I monitored the area and saw no change in the sttuation and observed a truck in the alley being loaded with materials. On March 16th I went past the area in the alley. This time I saw a woman sittin9 in what appeared to be an office. This building looks like a garage with a large window on the alley side. The lights were on inside and it was easy to observe. The woman saw me go by. This was the first time I noticed thls aspect of the operation. At this point in time I am requesting your legal assistance in the matter. r�e
