The design and construction should take into <br />consideration site drainage and soil conditions. All rockeries should <br />conform to the guidelines and requirements of the City of Everett. <br />' USE OF THIS REPORT AND WARRANTY <br />we have prepared this report for use by The Tredway Corporation, and their <br />agents for use in planning and preliminary design of a portion of this <br />project. There are possible variations in subsurface conditions. The data <br />and report should be provided to prospective contractors for their bidding and <br />estimating purposes, but our report conclusions and interpretations should not <br />be construed as a warranty of subgrade conditions. <br />i <br />The scope of our work does not include services related to construction safety <br />precautions, and our recommendations are not intended to direct the <br />contractors' methods, techniques, sequences or procedures, except as <br />specifically described in our report for consideration in design. <br />Specific building plans were not available at the time this report was <br />written. Therefore, we recommend that we be retained to review the final <br />plans and specifications and be allowed to modify the recommendations <br />described in this report based upon the actual design. <br />We recommend that the drainage and earthwork phase of development, including <br />excavation and structural filling be monitored by a geotechnical consultant, <br />who would evaluate earthwork activities to determine if they comply with the <br />project plans and specifications, and our recommendations. This would also <br />include the design and placement of cut off drains, as determined necessary. <br />Structural fill soils intended for use within the area should he approved by <br />the geotechnical consultant prior to placement. <br />Within the limitations of scope, schedule and budget, our services have been <br />performed in accordance with generally accepted practices followed in this <br />area at the time the report was prepared.
