Additional revisions or additions may be <br />required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the <br />(2012 International Building Code,) (2012 International Residential Code,) as amended by the <br />State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2012 Edition, and adopted by the <br />City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br />provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the <br />corrections requested, along with a reduced set of plans no larger than 11" x 17". <br />1. Update all code references in construction drawings to the 2012 International <br />Residential Code (IRC), and the 2012 Washington State Energy Code (WSEC). <br />2. Provide R-21 insulation in the walls and R-30 insulation over the stairs where the stairs <br />arc located in an unheated space (stairs from garage to main floor). <br />3. Specify area for all living space, garage, covered porch, and exterior stairs (equivalent to <br />open deck for valuation). <br />4. Whole house fans located less than 4 feet from the interior grill shall have a sone rating <br />of 1.0 or less per M1507.3.4.2 IRC. <br />5. Specify ledger connection required per Section R507 IRC. <br />6.
