FINDINGS ANU DECISION <br />OF THE HEARING EXAMINER OF THE <br />CITY OF EVERETT <br />IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION <br />OF ROBERT & RHONDA REED FOR <br />APPROVAL OF A REVIEW PROCESS III REV III #06-003 <br />DECISION: The Applicant's request for relief from the provisions of <br />EMC 19.7.020.H which limit the height of a detached <br />garage to 15 feet is granted. Pursuant to EMC <br />19.7.020.K, the Applicant is allowed to construct a 22 <br />foot high detached garage on property located at 4309 <br />Olympic Boulevard, Everett, Washington. <br />INTRODUCTION <br />Robert and Rhonda Reed (Applicant) requested approval to construct a 22 foot high <br />detached structure (garage) on R-1, Single -Family Detached Low Density zoned <br />property at 4309 Olympic Boulevard, Everett, Washington (subject property). Everett <br />Municipal Code (EMC) 19.7.020.1-1 restricts the height of a detached garage to 15 feet. <br />Exceptions to this standard are allowed pursuant to EMC 19.7.020.K. The Applicant <br />seeks such an exception. <br />A hearing was held before the Hearing Examiner of the City of Everett on January 4, <br />2007.
