l <br /> 9. Fire Aiazm System - An approved automatic fue detection system shall be provided as required <br /> by City Ordinance No. 3021-07, Chapter 16.76, of the Everett Municipal Code. Plans for such <br /> system shall be submitted to the Fire Code Official for review and apptoval prior to installation. <br /> Submittal shall include cut sheets of all equipment intended for use. Appropriate trip tests, witnessed <br /> by a Fire Department Inspector, shall be performed, atong with a certi5cate of completion, prior to <br /> final acceptance of the system. Fire alarm syscems shall be installed according to NFPA Chapter 72. <br /> Installetion of fim alarm components, including basic wiring, may not commence before plans <br /> are approved by lhe Firc Department Plan Reviewer. Fire alarm drawings must be professionally <br /> rendered, in sufficient detail, and must be internally consistent. Riser diagrams must match <br /> ins[allation plans and load calculations. Components must be listcd and approved for use togcther. <br /> Changes to plans must inciude new drawings and caiculations and must be approved by the Fire <br /> Department Plan Reviewer prior to installation. Fire alarm installation is subject to field inspectiun by <br /> a Fire Dcpartrncnt Inspector. An approved set of plans and the Engineering & Public Services <br /> Department electrical permit must be present for any installation inspection.
