Assvming that this is posted as B occupancy with 49 occupants maximum, two toilet <br /> rooms are required per IBC section 2903.1. <br /> Construdion <br /> 1. Elevations for all new doors should be shown on the drawings and if doors include glazing, <br /> the glazing should be identified as tempered, per IBC section 2406.4 (1.). <br /> Accessibility <br /> 1. The men and women toilet rooms should be called out on the plans, and will require 60 <br /> inch clear space between the edge of the lavatory and the wall parallel to the water closet, <br /> per ICC/ANSI A117.2-2003 section 604.3.1. <br /> 2. Eievations of the toilet room to show lavalory height, finishes, grab bars and the to(let <br /> dispenser should be shown on the drawings, �uch that: <br /> a. The vertical grab bar should be shown in elevation in both the men and women <br /> toilet rooms, per ICC/ANSI A117.1-2003 sedion 604.5. All grab bar dimensions <br /> (vertical and horizontal) should be shown on the drawings to comply with per <br /> ICC/ANSI Ai17.1-2003 figure 604.5.L <br /> b. Exposed pipes under lavatories should be shown as insulated on the drawings, per <br /> ICC/ANSI A117.1-2003 section 605.6. <br /> c. The centerline of the water closet should be dimensioned as between 16 and 18 <br /> inches from the side wall, per ICC/ANSI A117.1-2003 sedion 604.2. <br /> d. The lavatory height should be dimensioned on the drawings as 34 inches maximum <br /> above the floor, per ICC/ANSI A117.1-2003 section 606.3 in toilet rooms, <br /> classrooms, labs, and break rooms, per IBC 1109.2.3. <br /> e. The toilet paper dispenser in the accessible water closet compartment should be <br /> sh. +wn on the drawings to comply with ICC/ANSI A117.1-2003 section 604.7. <br /> � � <br />
