Contractors' materials and test certificates must be submitted to <br /> the Everett Fire Uepartment prior to issuance of any Certificates <br /> of occupancy. <br /> Call 259-8726 for more information. <br /> 28. A fire alarm system is not required for this type of occupancy. <br /> However, a fire alarm system may be required if certain <br /> conditi�ns exist within the buildinq, (Refer to 1►rticle 14 of <br /> the Uniform Fire Code. ) <br /> 29. A portable fire extinguisher with n minimum UL rating of 21► must <br /> be provided within 75 feet travel distance on each floor of all <br /> portions of each buildinq durinq construction. <br /> 30. Fire lanes must be provided as required in Everatt Hunicipal Code <br /> 46.44. Fire lanes must be identified by red curbs with white <br /> ste.ncilinq statinq °NO Pl,RKING - FIRE I.7�liE° and verticnl siqns <br /> statinq "NO PARKING - FIRE LtWE - TOW �,WAY ZONE." Each buildinq must be clearly identified so aa to be <br /> visible and leqible from the access road. <br /> 32. When access to or within a structure or an area is unduly <br /> difticult because of secured openinqs or vhere ism�diate access <br /> is neceBsary for life snvinq or fire-fiqhtinq purpossa, the Fire <br /> Departsent may recomwand or require a kay box to be installed in <br /> an accessible location.
