I will address items "b" through "e" in that letter.
b. Sheets L-1, L-2, C-1, and C-2 have been revised to indicate the sicewalk separation
shown on Sheet A-14. This pedestrian roe was designed to be the most direct
path to Pacific Avenue, while avoiding adverse slopes. The path will either be
separated by a six-inch•hiph concrete curb or a siz•inch raised sidewalk. We will
review this solution with Kirk Brooks.
c. Sheets L-1 and L-2 have been revised to indicate the two west site stairways as
shown on Sheet C-1. The irripation system has been revised accordingly.
d. The total valuation for Providence Hospital's plant and equipment is S73,909,?00. If
the fixed equipment value of 429,313,000 is deducted fron that amount, the total is
444,596,200. Construction cost, as estimated on the building permit application, is
S7,138,338. This amount is 16 percent of the plant vaiue, which is in complince
with Section 35.0308 of the zoninp code. It should le noted that the plaiit value
mentioned above excludes the south parking paraBe and west medical ofiice builJing.
e. Please see the attached drawings titled "Temporary Construction Parking Diagram"
and "North Garape Cirr.ulation Plan".
The temporary parkinp diagram indicates the layout with varous footnotas numbered
1 through 9. The existinp north parking lot has 107 parking spaces, vuhich will be
lost for a period of aiK to eight months durinp the twentymonth construction pe;iod.
It is in the owner's best interest to minimize this disruption of circulation. For the
tirst (ew months of the project, tlie north lot will remain unaffected, with the
exception of the northwest corner (Footote 9) where the Newland Cunstruction job
shack lias been located. A new sign has been posted in this lot IFootnote 1)
directing users to the south garage for public parking.
The existinp site directory sign located at the intersection of Pacific Avenue and
Nassau Street (Footnote 2) will be revised to indicate "Public Parking" and an arrow
to the south.
4206 Hoyt Avenue • Everett,Washington 98203 • 206/259-0868 • 206/774-3341 • FAX 2061252-4334
