Providence Women &Children's Center <br /> Chapter 246-320 WAC Hospitals <br /> MRI Installalion <br /> Plan Revlew Commenlc <br /> ° : � <br /> � o v <br /> T <br /> F cy � � <br /> u t e a � <br /> C U 'C 7 <br /> C � px Complete plans and specifications for the fire alarm system installation or <br /> modification shall be submitted for review and approval priar to system installation. <br /> Plans and specifications shall include,but not be limited to, a floor plan; location of <br /> all alarm-initiating and alarm-signaling devices; alatm-control and trouble-signaling <br /> equipment; annunciation; power connection; battery calciilations;conductor rype and <br /> sizes; voltage drop calculations; name, address, and phone number of the agency <br /> receiving off-premises transmission of alarm; and the manufacturer, model numbers <br /> and listing infortnation for all eyuipment,dcvices, and matcrials. Incomolete plans <br /> and s ecifications will be returned without review. Plans and specifications may be <br /> submitted separately from construction documents during the construction of the <br /> project. For small renovation projects in which devices are only to be relocated, a <br /> plan that shows the relocation of devices can b�+ �uhmitted for review in lieu of the <br /> abovc requircments. Sec. 1001.3, Unifonn Fire Code <br /> Approved 11/25/2002 as per revised plan sheet E-2.0 indicating the locations of <br /> fire alarms and strobes. <br /> C 2 px Fire safety during construction, alteration, or demolition must be provided as <br /> indicated in Article 87, Uniform Fire Code. Indicate the exiting paths that will be <br /> availablc during construction and how the construction will be separa[ed from the <br /> existing facility as wcll as the materials used. The design professional shall <br /> incorporate the specific construction-related requirements in the contract documents. <br /> The contract docutnents should require the constructor ro implement these specific <br /> requirements during conswction. Combustible materials are not permitted to bc <br /> uscd as barriers.
