It will be a benefit to the City of Everett , . <br /> and will provide a public need in that it is a more <br /> advanced and safe performance of inedical treatment. <br /> (Saline testimony) <br /> 14. The City of Everett recommended approval of the Special <br /> Property Use Permit subject to the conditions as set <br /> forth in the staff report. These conditions are as <br /> E�llows: <br /> 1. The site must be developed in a manner consistent <br /> with the site plan presented at the public hearing <br /> (Exhibit 6) . <br /> 2. The Applicant must comply with all conditions <br /> listed in the Determination of Non-Significance <br /> for the proposal. . (Exhibit 4) <br /> 3. The City stronqly recommends that the buildinq be ' <br /> ' construcLed with a brick facade. If a brick <br /> facade is not used, the color of the building must <br /> blend with the color of the brick of the existinq <br /> f'�'� B bUsthe 1Plannin1�9De artmentchips must be approved <br /> i�, y q p prior to the issuance <br /> � of any permits. <br /> ���,�_ ,, 4. Quality landscaping must be prorided along the <br /> � ± north and east sides of the building. The <br /> landscaping along the east side must be of <br /> variable heights to break up the monotony of the <br /> blank walls. A landscaping plan must be reviewed <br /> and approved by the Planninq Department prioc to <br /> the issuance of any permits for the project. <br /> 5. All signs for the building shall be placed on the <br /> face of the building and shall not exceed the <br /> height of the ccof of the building. (staff report) <br /> 15. A Witness (Johnston) testified to be the ownec of <br /> property on Nassau immediately across from the subject <br /> propecty. The witness was concerned about the increased <br /> parking pressure as the result of the elimination of the <br /> sixteen parking spaces and the more intense use of the <br /> subject property. He cequested a written agreement <br /> stating that there will be no increased parking pcessure <br /> on Nassau. (Johnston testimony) <br /> 16. The proposed magnet resonance imaging unit will satisfy <br /> a community need because it will be a permanent facility <br /> that can be used for increased effective and safe <br /> medical use. (Cunningham testimony) <br />
