8. PROJECT OVERVIEW <br /> This project prop��sed over the north side of an existing parcel totaling 0.72 acres. Due to <br /> the presence of ex�sting site improvements only 022 acres of the site will be disturbed as <br /> a result of this project to construct new parking and loading dock. The existing structure <br /> and all other existing improvements will remain on the site. All the new impervious <br /> surfaces will be directed to a detention pipe. The detention sys!em discharges to the <br /> combined storm/sewer sys•tem within the Paine Ave R O.W. The existing ground cover of <br /> grass and gravel in the ares of disturbance will be converted to impervious surfaces as a <br /> resuit of this project. <br /> The site grades for this project a�e flat, approximately 1%. Limited site grading will be <br /> necessary to construct the project w�th the majority of the excavation due to the truck well <br /> for the loading dock. In addition, coi;crete wails will be necessary for the loading ramp <br /> and the designs are included on the Architectural plans for this project.
