If <br /> Fire Department access is obstructed, gates or other openings <br /> must be provided for access. The Fire Department may requira a <br /> key box to be installed in an accessible location. A rapid <br /> entry system may also be desirable in order to avoid unnecessary <br /> damaqe while makinq 4ntry to any buildinq during an emerqency <br /> situation. <br /> 13. The Police Department has the following security recommendations <br /> if the addition will be enclosed in <:he future: <br /> a. The parameter doors should have double cylinder dead-bolt f <br /> lockinq crashbar. Freiqht doors should be secured With pad <br /> (preferably on the inside) with 1/2" case hardened shackle to <br /> track or 3" steel hasp. <br /> e. The more office windows that are visible to the parking area, <br /> safer the area is from assaults and thefts. <br /> 15. The Washinqton State Clean Air Act requires the u:.•e of all <br /> known, available, and reasonable means of contr��llinq air <br /> pollution, including dust. Dust generated during construction <br /> activities can be controlled by wettinq those dust sources such <br /> as areas of exposed soi].s, washing truck wheels before they <br /> leave the site, and installing and maintaining qravel <br /> construction entrances. Construction vehicle track-out is also <br /> a major dust source. Any evidence of track-out can triqger <br /> violations and fines from the Department of Ecology or the Puqet <br /> 5oiind Air Pollutiofi Control I�gency. (SEPA Natural <br /> Environment/Air Quality Policies) <br /> 16. The proposal must also comply with all other City Code and <br /> Ordinance requirements not specifically set forth herein. <br /> 4 <br />
