CONVEYANCESYSTEM <br /> The conveyance system was designed to convey the 25-year 24-hour storm event with 0.5 <br /> ft of freeboard, while allowing the ]00-year 24-hour storm event to overtop the catch <br /> basins. In the 100-year case, overtopping will not rise within 4 feet of any finished floor <br /> elevation and would overflow toward Merrill Creek along the east and toward the regional <br /> detention facility to the north. <br /> The conveyance system was designed using the rational method to determine the peak <br /> flows tributary to each catch basin . The hydraulic grade line was then calculated using <br /> the Storm Sewers computer model (please see the Appendix for the actual computer <br /> � output).
