17. Any proposed thinning of vegetation in the Native Gro�vth Protection Easement Area must be <br /> sho��m in the landscaping plan:�nd appropriate revegetation must be provided. (SEPA Land and <br /> Shoreline Use, Earth, Water, Plants and Animals Policies and SEPA MDNS No. 15-87) <br /> 18. Buildings shall be sited and designed to assure architectural compatibility with the surrounding <br /> buildings and environment. (SEPA Land and Shoreline Use and Aesthetics Policies and SEPA <br /> MDNS No. 15-87) <br /> 19. HVAC equipment placed on roofs, facades or external to the building shall be architecturally <br /> screened and not seen from the exterior of the building. Buildings with facades greater than sixty (60) feet in length shall provide architectural modulation. <br /> Special landscaping treatment which creates a visual break in the building facade shall be required <br /> on all blank building facades which are in excess of forth (40) feet in length. Outdoor storage and refuse disposal areas shall not exceed five percent(5%) of the gross floor area <br /> of all buildings on a lot without prior approval of the Planning Director. Chainlink, cyclone, and barbed wire fences will only be allowed in situations requiring securiry <br /> measures by approval of the Planning Director and shall not be allowed adjacent to public rights- <br /> of-way.
