We had earlier prepared a <br /> Geotechnical Engineering Study tor the subjact site and the adjacent northern site in 1995. We i <br /> also observed major grading on the sile in i.ugust ol that same year. The exad building locations <br /> were not known at the time of grading or at the time the previous report was prepared 7he scope <br /> of our recent work consisteG of exploring the current site surface and s�bsurface conditions, <br /> reviewing our previous work on the s�te, and then developing this update report, This work was � <br /> ` authorized by your acceptance of our proposal, P-43G5, dated June 3G, 1999. <br /> We were provided with site plans, which included topo^raphic information ar,d partial final grading I <br /> plans. Fernri Design Group developed these plans, which are da!ed May 26, 1999. Based on <br /> these plans, we anticipa:e ihat the development will consist of two large comnercial structures � <br /> constructed around a central loading area. Paved parkir,g will surround the two struciures, and ' <br /> access will be via a shared road on the mrthem side of the property. The fi�ish floor elevations of <br /> the proposdd buiidings is 607.5 feet, and the loading area pavement will Ce at eievatio� 602 5 !o <br /> E03.5 feet. We anticipate that cuts varying fron 2 to 4 feet will be made en the eastem and central <br /> po�ions of the property while approxirnately 3 feet of fill will he added te the western portion ot ;he <br /> site. <br /> SITE CON01770NS � <br /> SURFACE CONDITIONS <br /> The site is located on the no�thwest corner af the intersection of Seaway Boulevard and Merriil <br /> Creek Parkway in Everett, Washin9ton, Major grading operations were comple;ed ort the subject <br /> 6ite in 1995. This included cutting down much of the middle and western portior.s of the site, a�d <br /> • � filling the eastem end. The undeveloped site is currently reiatively ila1, with one larpe <br /> � fill pile near the nartheast corner. The major;ty of the site is vege:ated with �rass and <br /> weeds; a stand of tali evergreen and deciduous trees line the southem and western <br /> � property Ilnes.
