These comments address building issues only, additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 1997 Uniforrtt Building Code, as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1997 Edition, unless stated otherwise. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Buirding Div�sion with two complete new sets of drawings (PBS drawings not necessary) retlecting the corrections requested. 1. Please revise the door schedule to indicate 20-minute doors complying with UBC 1004.3.4.3.2.1 in the corridor. 2. The plans should indicate the requirement for an automatic fire-detection system per City Ordinance 1902-92. 3. Ylease provide the locations and detailing of drafr stops per UBC 708.3.1.2.2. 4. The R-10 perimeter slab-on-grade insulation is required to extend downward from the top of the slab to the top of the footing. See WSEC 1311.5. Prepare a response letter showing where each item in this correction letter is addressed on the plan set. Upon resubmittal of the drawings, your application will be given prioriry and plan review will recommence. All required submittals shall be of sufficient detail and contain sufficient information to ensure that the proposed structure will be constructed in compliance with all auopted codes.
