Minutes <br />October 6, 1986 <br />Page 10 <br />He will need the approval of his neighbors in order to obtain the street <br />vacation, so he is askinq the owner of Lot 11 to support his application. <br />In responae to a request from Ross Hoagland that he speak either for or against <br />the variance request, Mr. Long stated that he is in favor if the applicant is <br />in fav�r of the street vacation. He further stated that the applicant would <br />be building next to an existing sewer line and he would have to be sure his <br />houae is far enough away from that line. <br />Reqazding the existing sewer line, Pearl Maddy said that the Public Ylorks <br />Department had no conment on this. Ramona Boylan observed that this would <br />be cauqht durinq the pezmit process, and that generally speaking a 10-foot <br />easement is required. <br />xobert La Grandeaur stated that he has a sketch which appeazs to show a sewer <br />line going down the center of the current right-of-way and the vacated right- <br />of-way. He showed this sketch to the Boazd. <br />Motion: Marie Sullivan offered a motion to approve the variance as <br />reco�ended by Staff.
