June 19, 2013 <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles requested an executive session following the meeting <br /> concerning two legal matters pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i)(c). The <br /> session is anticipated to last 20 minutes with no announcement to follow. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Celia Strong, Everett; Alfred Hollenbeck, Everett; Michael Trujillo, Everett; <br /> and John Williams, Everett, expressed their concerns regarding traffic <br /> issues associated with a proposed housing development at 92nd Avenue <br /> SE and Dorn Avenue and suggested that a moratorium be placed on the <br /> development. <br /> Ry McDuffy, Everett, developer, stated that there is an existing five foot <br /> walkway along 92nd Avenue SE and that a moratorium is unwarranted. <br /> City Attorney Iles stated that a moratorium is not appropriate at this time. <br /> The project is already vested in accordance with the regulations that were <br /> in place at the time the application was reviewed and deemed complete. <br /> Adisu Aramde, Edmonds, spoke regarding the need for all taxi companies <br /> to have 24-hour dispatch offices in the city and suggested that a <br /> committee, comprised of city staff and taxi owners and drivers, be formed <br /> to work on issues as they arise. <br /> COUNCIL BRIEFING AGENDA <br /> Cedar Grove Update <br /> Presented by Craig Kenworthy, Executive Director, <br /> Puget Sound Clean Air Agency <br /> Authorize the Request for Qualifications for the Design-Build <br /> construction of Water Transmission Line 5 Replacement at the <br /> Pilchuck River in the amount of$2,000.00 <br /> Presented by Dave Davis, Public Works <br /> 167 <br />
