I spent a couple hours in the microfilm room yesterday, but I've got more work to do. And I honestly don't know when I'll be able to make the time to do that. With respect to other aspects of your complaint that I can address more directly - I spoke with the construction inspector yesterday regarding the sidewalk runoff. I also sent an e-mail message to Kirk Brooks, who is the supervisor of the group, regarding both the sidewalk situation and your other concerns regarding the pipes and the runoff from the home site's impervious areas. Kirk is the person to deal with the permit issues. With regard to the other statements in your message - I cannot confirm or deny their accuracy. Many of your statements regard issues that are not black -and -white, but are rather the types of issues that get settled in the legal arena. Thanks. I am sorry if I have put you into an awkward position. It was not my intention to do that. I just wanted clarification of my position and the rules involved. The two people I cc'ed are my girlfriend and brother. No lawyer involved. My brother and girlfriend were involved in the flood and stuff. They just wanted to be tied into any information I got.
