Washington
3.0 DATA COMPILATION AND REVIEW
3.1 Site Description
00-02-20
GES, Inc. made a site visits on February 1 I & 15, 2000. The geologic investigation and reconnaissance
of the site and surrounding area were completed during this visit.
The site is located on the northeast side of Rucker Hill area of the City of Everett. 35'h Street is a local
vast/west thru street lined with older, small to medium sized single family residences, duplexes and
apartments. Nassau Street is a local north/south street lined with single family residences at this time. To
the north ofthe site is another single family residence that we understand is approximately five-(5) years
old and to the cast is an alley.
The site consists of a roughly rectangular shaped lot that is approximately 70 ft. wide (north/south
direction) by 124 tl. long (easewest direction). The site is undeveloped. The site slopes sharply in a
northeasterly direction, dropping from approximate elevation el 195 along 35`h Street and Nassau Street
on the south and west, to approximate elevation el. 175 along the north and northeast property lines — into
a northern trending draw. Surficially, the southern flat portion of the site is now covered with several feet
of recently dumped fill. The steep slope is covered with a thick growth of dense blackberry vines.
Standing water was noted within the draw at the base of the slope on the adjacent property to the north.
A Site Map taken from the supplied site survey is included in Appendix B of this report.
3.2 Geoloeic Setting
The site lies in a geologic region known as the Puget Sound Lowland Physiographic Province. The Puget
Sound Lowland Physiographic Province consists of a linear depression that trends in a north -south
direction between the Olympic Mountains to the west and the Cascade Mountains to the east.
