Jc
City of Everett Project #REVI 04-017
Dear Mr. Spence;
We thank you for this opportunity to review your proposed plans for the development of the above
referenced lot. You will also find attached our Addendum Letter to the sites "Geologic Investigation
and Geotechnical Engineering Report" dated March 7, 2000. The Addendum Letter was prepared based
on our review of the supplied site plans and incorporates additional geologic data aeveloped during our
subsequent site investigation on .August 23, 2004.
Based on our review of the Site Plan Set and the site Geotechnical Report, we believe that the
development as proposed addresses and includes the recommendations contained in the site Geotechnical
Report and adequately mitigates the observed potential hazards present on the site. The recommendations
contained in the Geotechnical Report, as incorporated in the Site Plan Set and when followed during
construction, will help ensure the sate development of the site and limit potential impacts to surrounding
properties through the application of safe site development practices and proper erosion controls.
This site is somewhat unique in that the geologic hazards present are all associated with the uncontrolled
fill which has been dumped on the site. Our site investigations have indicated over 18 ft. of uncontrolled
tills locally on this si!e. The filling of the site has resulted in a very steep, over 100%, northern facing
s
slope along portions of the site. The development of the site as proposed will directly mitigate thi
UI
