The creek areas were obaerved to'
have these soils present at their base. Portions of the ateep
slope areas rre re observed to have thase aoila make up LAe elope
area. Only TP-10 indicated the presence of LAe Whidbey Foatiott
soils near surface within the site development area. Overlying
the dense fine grained basal soils is a variably thick sequence
of grey to brown, poorly sarted, gravelly, silty to sligAtly
silty sand. These soils appear to be glacial outwaeh sands and
gravels, but cou].d be the upper portion of the Whidbey Formation
so:: ,?tese seils were found to underly a 2' to 4' thick straLa o.
grey, dense, poorly sorted silty sand with gravel, considered
to hr. glacial Cill. The glacial till was found to occur only
