These comments <br />address building issues only, addiHonal revis�ons or additions may be required by other departments <br />(such as Udlities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 1991 Uniform Building Code, as <br />amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1991, 2nd Eciidon, unless <br />stated otheiwise. <br />1. Provide section drawing through master bedroom and "her bath". Show �il framing members <br />including; ridge board (or beam) rafters, ceiling joists, interior partiGons, subfloor, floor joists <br />etc. Specify which is ezisting and which is new. Call out size and spacing of inembers. <br />2. Show size, spacing and direction of floor framing of ezisting second floor and existing main <br />floor at master bedroom. Trace all loads to the foundation. <br />3. 1'he basement plan shows new wnstruction in the existing bedroom, provide note(s) or detail(s) to <br />indicate extent of construction. Verify that escape and rescue recuirements and light and <br />ventilation requirements are not compromised. <br />4. Provide calculations prepared by a licensed Washington State Structural Engineer for wind & <br />seismic loading of elevation "B" on Sheet A-3 and of elevadon "D" on Sheet A-4. If an <br />addidonal window and door aze added to the family room, �nd the new configuration does not <br />comply with Section 2517(g)3 UBC prescriptively, provide calculations for that wall as well. <br />5. Provide a floor or landing on both sides of the doors at the breakfast room and at the family <br />mom. Landings shall comply with Section 3304(i) UBC. <br />6. Provide safety glass in required ha::ardous locations per Section 5406 UBC ("A-1" Qa nook, "G- <br />1" @ master bath). <br />7.
