TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR DEMOLITION REMOVAL RECc;VED M f�.Y 1 01990 k�ILL O'BRIE� & SO�S Bill 0'Brien and Sons Construction Company, hereinafter called "Contractor," has examined the terms and cunditions of the Fire Department Training Agreement between the City of E�erett, hereafter called "City," and Gordon and Carol Bjorg, hereafter calieu "Bjorgs," and agrees to demolish the building at 954 North Park Drive, Everett, '4ashington, from the premises and clear the site of all building materials and rubble or debris subject to the conditicns as set forth in this Contract. The undersigned certifies that this Contract has been carefully examined, and that the site of the work has been personally inspected. The undersigned declares that the amount and nature of the work to be done is understood, and that at no time will misunderstanding of this Contract be pleaoed. On the basis of this Contrar,�, the undersigned proposes to furnish all ��ecessary apparatus and other means of construction, to do all the work and furnish all the materials in the manner specified, to finish the entire project within the time hereinafter proposed, and to accept as full compensation from the City therefor the lump sum payment of Fourteen Thousand Six Hundred Eighty Dollars (�14,680). Any additional payments shall be the responsibility of Gordon and Carol Bjorg. (1) No work is to be commenced until a permit for demolition or clearance has been obtained from the City of Everett Public Works Department, along with all other necessary permits required by the City of Everett. (2) Contractor hereby agrees to commence work within five (5) calendar days of date of notice of authorization to proceed from the City. (3) Contractor shall notify the Fire Department, at 259-8787 twenty-four (24) heurs before work comnences, that work is to begin. (4) Contractor shall remove from the premises all wood building materials and rubble or debris thereof, within fourteen (14) consecutive calendar days from the date of notification by the City to proceed and failure to do so shall be cause for termination of this agreement. All salvage to be property of the Contractor. (5) This Contract shall not be assignable. The Contractor shall be liable for all acts and omissions of his subcontractor(s). (6) Payment by the City shall be made as follows: After the expiration of thirty (30) calendar days following the final acceptance of said work and the expiration of the time for filing of lien claims as provided by law, full amount of contract price, less all amounts necessary to meet and discharge the claims as
