Washington9Al99 <br />April 7, 1982 <br />Foundation Investigation <br />Mukilteo Blvd. <br />Washington <br />On March 12, 1982 we inspected the soils and foundation <br />conditions on a site at 1234 M4kilteo Blvd. in Everett, <br />Washington. During the courSe of the walkover and ensuing <br />discussion, we ontlined to Russ Lamb our conclusions regarding <br />bearing horizons, slope retention, etc. as they apply to the <br />proposed residential project. We confirm this information <br />herewith. <br />Site Descri tion The property is located near the intersection <br />of Mu ilteo B vd. and Seahurst Avenue in Everett, Washington. <br />It is a quadrilateral tract measuring 60 ft by 108 ft. The <br />ground surface slopes moderately to the southwest, with a total <br />topographic relief of 28 feet. The ground surface is comprised <br />of two major topographic elements: (1) a terraced area lying <br />between two parallel rubble retaining walls occupies the <br />eastern-most portion of the site, and (2) the remaining area <br />consists of a 9entle ravine. Vegetation is primarily weeds and <br />grass with a few scattered coniferous trees. <br />Subsurface Ex lp oration In order to determine t`�e subsurface <br />conditions� s ti e, a test pit was made with a rubber- <br />mounted backhoe. <br />Subsurface Conditions Two principal soil units were encountered <br />on the site, these are described briefly as follows: <br />
