7une 2, 1q69 <br />The regular meeting ot thc City of Everett Board of Adjustment was held at <br />7:30 p, in. , June 2, 1969 in the City Hall Council Chambers, City Hall, Everett, <br />Washington. <br />Mr. Graff presided. Mr. Ingram� Mr, Dickson and Mr. Champion were present, <br />Mr. Cronin was absent. <br />The minutes of the IJIay 5, 1969 Board of Adjustment meeting were read and <br />approved as read. • <br />A continuance on the application of Mr, Wm. D. Jordan, 4432 Seahurst for a <br />variance from the ordinance and permission to utilize a tract of land which does <br />not abut a minimum of forty (40) feet on a public dedicated street. A portion of <br />Lot 4, Plat of Maple Heights. .- <br />Two proposals for ingress and egress from Mukilteo Boule�ard were submitted <br />by the applicant to the Board which have the sanction of the City of Everett <br />Traffic Engineer and are on file in the office of the Planning Department. <br />Based on the application of Mr. 3ordan and the presentation and discussion at <br />the hearing the granting of the �ariancc will not adversely affect the compre- <br />hensive general plan. • <br />No facts presented in the application and at the hearing show substantial detriment '� <br />to the public welfare or injury to property in the vicinify or zone in which subject � <br />property is located. <br />Mr. Wm, D. Jordan's application. and discussion at the hearing thereof show <br />that such variance is necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of a sub- <br />slantial property right possessed by both Mr. 7ordan and o[her property owners <br />in the same vicinity and zone. <br />It was moved by Mr. ingram, secoaded by Mr. Champion and unanimously carried <br />to graat the requested variance of �Ym. D. Sordan subject to the following stipu- <br />lations : <br />1, Driveways to be constructed as 3esigned by Mr. Rowell Paine, <br />City Traffic En�ineer <br />2. Driveways to be constructed prior to sale of subject property, <br />3, Ingress and egress to subject property to be from 3vlukilteo <br />Boule�ard only. <br />4. No huilding permit is to be i.ssued until such time as an <br />� _ acceptable driveway is constructed. <br />Hearin� held on the application of Mr. Cecil Hults, �OS - 47t's Street, requesting �� <br />permission to subdicide a tract of land into two (2.) parcels. One site u•ill have �� <br />an e�istin� single family dwelling which does not abut on a publie dedicatvd street � <br />
