The residence is <br />typical in size to other residences alortq Mukilteo Boulevard. The applicant <br />proposes to reduce the setback from the south property line to 15 fset and <br />maintain a two foot side setback trom the west•property line. This will aUow fhe <br />residence to setback as much as possible from the top of slope. <br />The Director will not allow the setback from the south property to be reduced <br />below 18.5 feet. An 18.5 foot minimum setback is necessary to allow for <br />adequate amount of space for vehides to park in front of the garage so that a <br />minimum ot four aff-street parking spaces can be provided on the property. Ths <br />
