ICI
Kegel & Associates Inc.
January 9, 1979
Mr. Wayne Blakely
The Brandvold Company
P. 0. Box 3066
Everett, Washington 98203
Re: Lot 2 in Short Plat on Mukilteo Boulevard
Our Job No. 6876
Dear Wayne:
Enclosed is the drawing we had previously prepared for you showing the
building located on Lot 2 of your Short Plat on Mukilteo Boulevard.
We have added to that drawing the distances from the rear property line
to the rear corners of the house that was constructed on that lot.
Last Friday (January 5, 1979) our surveyors reset the rear corners of the
three lots in your Short Plat. The surveyors were able to locate and
identify only one of the corners we had previously set. It appears that
the initial survey was incorrectly located. The discrepancy appears to
be mostly in a North -South location and little or none in an East-West
location.
I have contacted the Building Department to ask their advice as to what
they believe is the easiest and quickest way to rectify the problem.
It would appear that the most expedient method to alleviate the situation
is to obtain a variance in the rear setback requirement to fit the actual
constructed distances. At this time I have not heard back from them.
It is our desire to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. Please
let us know if there is something we should be doing.
Sincerely,
Howard A. Espeseth, R.L.S.
Senior Surveyor U. `
Enclosure
'9
S. 1
ENGINEERS • SURVEYORS • PLANNERS
