Russell. !fr. Kristiansen, and Mr. Black were present; <br />• • Mr, Herg was absent. <br />IUnder.old business, Mr. James Dupler of 320 Olympic Blvd, Everett, WA 98203, <br />withdrew his applicatiors. . <br />'Phe following items are under new business: <br />1� L. A. Ncers and Howard Moore who are aoplying for 3312 Ysomer. They <br />are requesting permission to construct a single family residence to within <br />ten (10) feet of the front property line rather than the required twenty (20) <br />feet. Also to allow for a deck to extend six (6) feet into the rear yard <br />setback. <br />LEG11L DESCRIPTION: Lot 10 except the west 85 feet thereof and Lot 11 <br />except the west 85 feet thereof, Block 783, Stanford <br />• Land Company's Add, to Everett <br />kDDRESS: Approximately 3312 Kromer <br />ZONING: R-1 Single Family Low Density Residence � _ <br />F:r. Dan Hovey, 4619 eaker Drive, represented Fir, Moore and Mr. Akers. <br />Dir. Bovey made the followinq state�nents: <br />1. �That the proposed new single family.residence will be 224 feet <br />from ground level. <br />2. There have been ot}ier variances granted in the in¢nediate area <br />for similar requests. <br />3. Also that they are propcising a residence that will minimize the <br />loss of view ta the neighbors. � <br />There was some opposition from the neighbors. The main objection was the <br />obstruction of view that they have been enjoying for the past many years. <br />After visually viekinq the subject property and considering all the facts <br />and testimony, it was moved by DSr. Russell, seconded by FL^, Kristiansen, <br />and unaninously carried, that the variance be granted for the followinq <br />reasons: .. <br />� 1. It does comply with Section 19.70.060 of the iVerett bfunicipal <br />• Code, Paraqraph 2, wh:ch says that such variance is necessary for <br />the preservation and enjoyment of a substantial property riqht <br />of the appellant possessed by thc owners of other property in <br />the same vicinity or zone. <br />� <br />:.Z� � - - - - - <br />
