General Telephone Company <br />Special Property Use Permit 8-84 <br />Page -2- <br />Subsequent to the hearing the following exhibits were submitted: <br />10 Letter dated 9-6-84 in opposition from <br />Janice Petrie <br />11 Letter from General Telephone dated 9-11-84 <br />responding to Janice Petrie's letter of 9- <br />6-84. <br />After due consideration of the evidence presented by the <br />Applicant; evidence elicited during the public hearing; and as <br />the result of the personal inspection of the subject property <br />and the surrounding areas by the Everett Hearing Examiner, the <br />following Findings of Facts and Conclusions constitute the <br />basis of the Decision of the Everett Hearing Examiner. <br />FINDINGS OF FACTS <br />1. <br />The application is for the approval of a Special <br />z <br />Property Use Permit for the development of a building at <br />3110 Mukilteo boulevard, Everett, Washington, and more <br />c� <br />particularly described as set forth above. The <br />building would house electronic telephone switching <br />equipment. <br />2. <br />The Applicant is a utility providing telephone service <br />N <br />= <br />to the residences of the City of Everett. The Applicant <br />o <br />m <br />has purchased the subject property and it is the intent <br />rn <br />o <br />to use the subject property as a location for telephone <br />switching equipment. <br />o <br />s <br />m <br />3. <br />The subject property is a 12,077 square foot parcel of <br />m <br />land. The proposed building on the subject property <br />o <br />z <br />would be 988 square feet. <br />n <br />= <br />4. <br />The subject property is zoned R-S, Single Family <br />1 <br />Suburban Residential. <br />o <br />v <br />5. <br />The properties adjoining the subject property have the <br />m <br />following zoniig and land use designation: <br />0 <br />o <br />r <br />north: Single Family/R-S; south: Single Family/R-S; <br />c <br />N <br />east: Single Family/R-S; west: Single Family/R-S <br />Z <br />�r <br />6. <br />In order for a Special Property Use Permit to be granted <br />p <br />within the City of Everett, the criteria as set forth in <br />Section 19.58.010 of the Everett Municipal Code must be <br />n <br />met.
