General Telephone Company <br />Special Property Use Permit 8-84 <br />Page -3- <br />C. There must be a showing of public need. <br />7. The proposed building on the subject property will be <br />south of Mukilteo Boulevard and west of Ocean Avenue. <br />Access to the building will be off of N.ukilteo <br />Boulevard. A turn -around for traffic will be provided <br />on site. <br />8. The building on the subject property will be used for <br />telephone equipment. The property will net be a work <br />shop. Periodic maintenance will be required. As a <br />result little, if any, traffic will result from the <br />development of the subject property. <br />9. The Applicant stated that the intent is to develop the <br />subject property in a manner similar to a small <br />residence. The buildiniI would have wood siding and <br />would blend in q- th the surrounding properties. <br />10. The site is flat: and i:. covered with underbrush. When <br />developed, the Applicant intends to landscape the <br />property in accordance with the landscape plan which was <br />submitted. <br />11. The proposed building which will house telephone <br />switching equipment will allow the Applicant to provide <br />more efficient phone service for existing customers <br />within the City of Everett and will provide the capacity <br />for servicing additional customers. <br />12. The Ever,:tt Planning Department has recommended approval <br />of the Special Property Use Permit subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />1. That the proponent shall sign a Local Improvement <br />District covenant for street improvements. <br />2. That City streets and alleys are to be kept clear <br />of dirt and debris at all times during <br />construction. Dust suppression and street <br />cleaning must occur as directed by the Public <br />Works Inspector. <br />3. That site be landscaped in accordance with Exhibit <br />#8 as approved by the City. <br />=1 � <br />
