Again,pursuant to our conversation this morning I reviewed our file on this address and found that after I contacted inspector Dougherty he made a follow up inspection. In doing so he left a second notice approving all work and noting that two new utility circuits had been added by the cor.tractor, ��hich were not requested. Therefore, the contractor should be commend�d for adding this item in th� knowledge that they are required by present code. 2 feel that the mayor should be advised that Mr. Phillips was not the buyer but the seller in this transaction. I think that either the mayor is not clear on this or that Mr. Phillips may have misrepresented himself. In reviewing this I feel that the case was properly handled by the city staff and the confussion which occured was initiated by Mr. Phillips or North West Mortgage, or both. A contributing factor may have been the failure of this division notifying Housing that our concern in the case was satisfied. Therefore, I will take steps to insure that required notification, to Iiousing, in these matters will be forthcoming upon inspection.
