. � � (- <br /> Specifically the violations of EM� noted with the structures are: <br /> 16.12.080(B)(4) Whenever any portion thereof has been damaged by fire, earthquake, wind, flood <br /> or by any other cause to such an extent that the structural strength or stability <br /> thereof is materially less than it was before such catasVophe and is less than the <br /> minimum requirements of the building code for ne�v buildings of similar <br /> structure,purpose or location. <br /> 16.12.080(B)(5) Whenever any portion of inember or appurtenance thereof is likely to fail, or to <br /> become detached or dislodged, or to collapse and thereby injure persons or <br /> damage property. <br /> 16.12.080(�3)(7) Whenever any portion thereof has wracked,warped, buckled or settled to such an <br /> extent that walls or other structural portions have materially less resistance to <br /> winds or earthquakes than is required in the case of similar new construction. <br /> 16.12.080(B)(8) Whenever the building or structure, or any portion thereof, because of(i) <br /> dilapidation,deterioration or decay; (ii) faulty construction, ��ii) the removal, <br /> movement or instability of any portion of the ground necessary for the purpose of <br /> supporting sucl�building; (iv) the deterioration, decay or inadequacy of its <br /> foundation; or(v) any other cause, is likely to partially or completely collapse. <br /> 16.12.080(B)(16) Whenever any building or structure, because of obsolescence, dilapidated <br /> condition, deterioration, damage, inadequate exits, lack of sufficient fire-resistive <br /> construction, faulty electric wiring, gas connections or heating apparatus, or other <br /> cause, is determined by the fire marshal to be a fire hazazd. <br /> 16.12.080(P�)(17) The building is in such a condition as to constitute a public nuisr,nce <br /> known to the common law or in equity jurisprudence. <br /> 1. The appliances, miscellaneous debris and discarded lumber must be removed from the <br /> yards. <br /> 2. Cazdboazd, paper,old paint cans,appliances and all other debris that is in danger of <br /> igniting must be removed from the south side of the second story primary dwelling. <br /> 3. All openings in both buildings (doors& windows) must be secured to prevent trespass or <br /> entry by animals and birds. <br /> 4. The second story of the primary dwelling must be secured. <br /> 5. Tlie support posts in the basement must be stabilized. <br /> 6. The movement of dirt in the basement must be evaluated to ensure the main structure is <br /> not in jeopazdy of falling offthe posts. <br /> 7. The porch and awning must be secured on the secondary dwelling. <br /> 8. Building, clectrical, mechanical and possibly plumbing permits must be secured to <br /> continue the renovation work being done on the property. <br /> 9. You may need a structural engineer to develop plans to repair the primary dwelling. <br /> �3 <br />
