MEETING MINUTES
CITY OF EVERETT & POWER Engineers, Inc.
Sibject: Review Comments for City of Everett Permitting
April 8, 1993
Attendees:
Citv of Everett Snohomish Countv PUD POWER
Kirk Brooks Jim Simpson Richard Childress
Jane Zimmerman Roy Eastman Karl Van Calcar
Chris Zacharia Larry White
Doug Baker
Dave Parker
Lynn Askew
Discussions foliowed City's review comments.
1. Soil contaminalion levels: POWER will review existing data and prepare a
proposal/work plan to perform further soil sampling to verify Weyefiaeuser's
site clean-up.
2. Detailed drawings required:
a. Site parking layout — none required
b. Landscaping — none required
c. Utilities
e. Storm drainage — POWER will investigate naturat runoff area to
ensure it is adequate.
f. Temporary construction erosion control —this wiii be done
3. On-site detention will ba requirsd if, as a result of an alteration of hydrology,
existing rainage is rot adaquate for naw drainae. Need to coordinate with
hydrology of wetlands to determine that wetlands need the water. (POWER
cannot say we are using wetlands as detention) It may be necessary to
conduct a study of the existing drainage to the East to verify that it will handle
the extra runoff.
4. If greater than 10,000 sq. ft. of new asphalt is to be used, the City requires
an oil/water separator. POWER explained that the 10,000 sq. ft does not
include the existing asphalt. By subtracting the square footage of existing
asphalt, the total amount will be less than 10,000 sq. ft. of new material.
Therefore the oil/water separator would not be required. POWER needs to
verify this information .
5. An erosion control plan is to be approved.
PEIILY21-087(rA0187)1750.02gw
