The applicant proposes to modify the building height standard in the <br /> Development Standards Table in the Zoning Code, and the permitted number of residential units in Chapter <br /> 19.15 EMC as follows: <br /> • MoJfication ot Building Height—Building Height in the R-1(A) zone is limited to 28 feet, as set forth <br /> in the Dcvelopmcnt Standards Table (GMC Chapter 19,Table 6.1). The proposed maximum building <br /> height of 38.5 fect would excecd thc hcight limit by 10.5 feet. Of the 25 buildings proposed on the site, <br /> only 8 buildin6s require a modification of the 28 foot standazd. This is because the finished grades have <br /> been reduced on most of the site duc to the soils cicanup and remediation project. <br /> • Modification of Permitted number of Multiple Family Units—EMC Subsection 19.15.O10.D.1.b <br /> allows an increasc in the numbcr of dwclling units of up to 10 percent.
