Associates))
 Dear Jusrin:
The Everett School District submits the following comments on the 26 unit Townhouse I
apartment complex located at 903 East Marine View Drive,Everett,Washington.
This pmject will fall in the present boundaries of Hawthome Elementary and Noruti Middle
School, both of which are over capacity and Everett High School which has capaciry.
The Everett School District has found that each multi-family dwelling unit throughout our
service area generates .327 students to the District's student population. With 26 new
apartment units, this project will generate 5.50 stdents of which 6.91 will be unhoused.
this bieaks down as follows; 5.38 elementary and 1.53 middle school studenu. Everott i
High School has capaciry and is not included in our calculation of unhoused students. i
Portables cost$36,000 to construct and locate on site. Twenty five (25) students can be
housed in each portable. Thus it costs$1,440 per student to house students in a portable.
IThe applicants' mitigauon, in this case, would be 6.91 students x$1,440=$9,9:.40 I
Thank you for the opportunity to respond.
i Sincere
,
! .e>/ G-./ ,.
 Don Rider
Consultan4 Everett School District No. 2
? 21 i 1 33rd Dr. S.E., Everett, WA 98208, (206) 337-4870
