r
919 E. Marine View Drive Apartments #13-4517
Flow control is required, as the total effective impervious surface proposed is over 5,000 square
feet.
The project disturbs less than an acre of land. In accordance with Section 2.2.7 of Volume 1 of
the Manual, two options exist to satisfy Minimum Requirement#7.
One option is to provide flow control applicable to projects disturbing more than 1 acre of land:
Stormwater discharges shall match developed discharge durations to predeveloped durations
for the range of predeveloped discharge rates from 50 percent of the 2-year recurrence interval
peak flow up to the full 50-year peak flow. The predeveloped condition to be matched shall be a
forested land cover.
• The second option is to provide flow control applicable to projects disturbing less than 1 acre of
land:
Stormwater discharges shall limit the peak developed rate of runoff from the 2-year, 24-hour
design storm to 50 percent of the existing condition 2-year, 24-hour design storm while
maintaining the existing condition peak runoff rate for the 10-year, 24-hour and 100-year, 24-
hour design storms.
The flow control design shall comply with the Manual and these requirements.
Minimum Requirement#8: Wetlands Protection
This requirement does not apply to the project, as no wetlands downstream of the project were
identified either by resource review or field observations.
Minimum Requirement#9: Operations and Maintenance
A Maintenance Plan consistent with the provisions in the Manual will be prepared for the project.
March 25,2014 Prepared by: Group Four, Inc.
