Marine View Drive Apartments #13-4517 <br /> Flow control is required, as the total effective impervious surface proposed is over 5,000 square <br /> feet. <br /> The project disturbs less than an acre of land. In accordance with Section 2.2.7 of Volume 1 of <br /> the Manual, two options exist to satisfy Minimum Requirement#7. <br /> One option is to provide flow control applicable to projects disturbing more than 1 acre of land: <br /> Stormwater discharges shall match developed discharge durations to predeveloped durations <br /> for the range of predeveloped discharge rates from 50 percent of the 2-year recurrence interval <br /> peak flow up to the full 50-year peak flow. The predeveloped condition to be matched shall be a <br /> forested land cover. <br />• The second option is to provide flow control applicable to projects disturbing less than 1 acre of <br /> land: <br /> Stormwater discharges shall limit the peak developed rate of runoff from the 2-year, 24-hour <br /> design storm to 50 percent of the existing condition 2-year, 24-hour design storm while <br /> maintaining the existing condition peak runoff rate for the 10-year, 24-hour and 100-year, 24- <br /> hour design storms. <br /> The flow control design shall comply with the Manual and these requirements. <br /> Minimum Requirement#8: Wetlands Protection <br /> This requirement does not apply to the project, as no wetlands downstream of the project were <br /> identified either by resource review or field observations. <br /> Minimum Requirement#9: Operations and Maintenance <br /> A Maintenance Plan consistent with the provisions in the Manual will be prepared for the project. <br /> March 25,2014 Prepared by: Group Four, Inc. <br />
