(HWA) has undertaken and completed a <br />(,eological Assessment of geologic hazards on the subject site and prepared this letter as <br />required by EMC 19.37.070.13. This assessment has been performed in support of <br />application for a Land Use pennit. required to obtain a building permit from the City of <br />Everett for the proposed den/bedroont and dining room additions at the northwest and <br />southwest corner of the existing residence at 624 Maulsby Lanc, in Everett, Washington. <br />The services described herein were prepared under the responsible charge of Steven E. <br />Greene, L.E.G. Steven E. Greene, L.E.G., is a geologist as defined by EMC 19.4. Steven <br />E. Greene, L.E.G., understands the requirements of the current Geologically I lazardous <br />Areas Chapter EMC 19.37.080 and the definitions and applicable ternis contained within <br />EMC 19.4. <br />The subject property contains a steep slope at the west end of the lot that classifies as a <br />landslide hazard area. <br />For the purposes of this hazard assesstr Ant HWA performed a review of the pertinent <br />geologic map and conducted a site reconnaissance to observe local topographic features <br />and shallow subsurface conditions in the vicinity of the project. <br />This letter report addresses only the two, new proposed additions to the existing house. <br />We understand that original design plans had called for new landscaping and 19730 - 64th AvenueW <br />lawn features in the backyard, between the existing house and top of slope, suite 200 <br />however, at this time these designs have been eliminated. hiinwood,WA 98036.5937 <br />Tel: 425.774.0106 <br />Fax: 425.774.2714 <br />Hww.hxageostlrnm.m �. <br />i� <br />I <br />
